Unlike majority of games which are set in urban settings, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is set in a 1960s Russian jungle setting. The plot is about an undercover agent, Naked Snake, whose mission is to rescue a weapons designer of a super secret weapon.
Though the setting has changed from urban to jungle, the focus is on covert infiltration. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater has been a hit worldwide selling over 3.7 million copies worldwide.
